2003 BMW Alpina Roadster V8

The BMW Alpina Roadster V8 is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V8 engine paired with a five-speed Switch-Tronic automatic transmission, delivering power to the rear wheels.

Based on the Z8 platform, the Alpina Roadster features aluminum body panels over an aluminum spaceframe and a front-engine roadster layout. The design was developed under Henrik Fisker and draws inspiration from classic BMW roadsters, with Alpina-specific mechanical and chassis tuning.

Exterior equipment includes a removable hardtop, a folding soft top, xenon headlights, fender-mounted air extractors, dual exhaust outlets, and large-diameter multi-piece alloy wheels. The Alpina variant is distinguished by a comfort-oriented suspension setup compared to the standard Z8.

The interior is trimmed in Nappa leather and extends across the seating surfaces, dashboard, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes heated power-adjustable sport seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, integrated navigation, and a premium audio system.

Instrumentation is centrally mounted and consists of analog gauges, including a speedometer, tachometer with integrated clock, and auxiliary readouts. The leather-wrapped steering wheel incorporates Switch-Tronic shift controls for manual gear selection.
